Dr. Wendy Barrett is a Colorado native; She graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder in 2002 with a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising; she quickly moved to Los Angeles where she worked in Corporate America until she could not ignore her calling to become a physician any longer. After moving back to Denver, she began her pre-requisites for medical school at University of Colorado, Denver. She then completed her medical degree at Rocky Vista University and attended residency at Skyridge Medical Center/Rocky Vista University. Dr. Barrett is board certified in Internal Medicine through the ACOI (American College of Osteopathic Internists) and has been practicing medicine since 2016; she is on facility as an attending/teaching physician for Internal Medicine and transitional Year residents at HCA/Sky Ridge residencies. She enjoys caring for complex patients and describes herself as a lifestyle doctor. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and as a self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants.
